UNFAIR TREATMENT TO STUDENT

At University Open Day, the spokeswoman for Linley & Simpson could not be any more helpful and informative. She spoke of student welfare as being very important and prided themselves on arranging accommodation in Wakefield for all first year students at Backstage Academy. During the tenancy, we found them less than helpful or interested in student welfare and on departure had the cheek to charge a ?30 for cleaning dust from drawers and limescale from shower head, even after the room had been cleaned extensively throughout the tenancy and certainly on the day of departure. I personally travelled 2 hours to ensure both bedroom and bathroom had been cleaned to a high standard, it most certainly had been and I am proud of this being done. To my mind, it was as clean as it had been at the beginning of the tenancy. a ?30 is a lot for a student to find and I am amazed and disgusted at Linley and Simpson.
