WORST LETTING AGENCYWe moved in last April 2023. We already encountered loads of problems on our first day.1. Window at the bedroom cana ? ?t be closed.2. Damp carpet on the entrance.July 2023, we started reporting damps and leak from the shower room. Which they did not fix. September 2023, bulging of chimney breast, leak from chimney and leak from the windows are starting. Every time it rains the window keeps on leaking that we need to put a tub on it. Moulds and damps are all over our bedroom and living room which caused my son to be ill for months. This continued until December 2023 which we involved council already.The landlord repainted the living room, fixed the chimney put some exhausts fans. All our just to patch things and not a proper fix. They did not change the plaster in our bedroom due to the reason of the landlord doesna ? ?t have funds to fix which I found very unfair since we pay our monthly rent on time. Despite that, we stayed in the house to finish our contract. Leak from window is not fixed still. Damp in the entrance was never addressed also the damp and tide marks that we reported we never addressed. We had to extend our contract until 7th June due to difficulty in looking for a house.1st of June the ceiling from entrance gave in. Thankfully it did not fall on my son since it is heavy. I rang Linley and Simpson and reported it as urgent. No one paid a visit until 4h of June from maintenance rang me and asked if the contractor can pay a visit on 5th of June which I agreed. No one came in the property to look, no one rang me or my husband. The contractor is claiming that he attended the property but my husband is inside the house cleaning and preparing it for turn over. Now the most disappointing part. The landlord charged us a ?75 for call out charges which we are definitely sure that no one came and no one attempted to contact us and reach us. Very disgusting. They rang Linley and Simpson but no one from the agency rang and notified us if the contractor is really waiting outside. Pure negligence. No receipt and invoice given as well but they already deducted the a ?75. Mind you, the landlord told Nicola Sharples that the repairs in the house will be delayed when I told them we need to extend our contract until June. The landlord keeps on delaying the repairs and now it is our fault that the house is starting to fall apartThis is very very very disappointing. I will never ever rent any property under this estate agency again. We feel like the landlord is taking off our money and the agency is helping her do that. After months of not fixing the house, she wanted to take our deposit now. Worst customer service as well. Tyla who was replying to us is very dismissive to our emails. Definitely they don't care about the tenants and they are just all after the money. They did not do anything to a landlord who paid an unannounced visit.They even returned our deposit with deductions after three weeks. WOW. JUST WOW.AVOID THIS LETTING AGENCY AT ALL COST.
