I have been using Indian Eagle for several years now. For a long time they had the cheapest Air India tickets fromNYC to Mumbai and when they are not the cheapest, the difference is low enough for me to stick to Indian Eagle. What I like best about is their customer service. Always available with almost no waiting time. Today, when there are a lot of flight cancellations because of air space being closed in the middle east, the Air India customer service has an hour long hold. But Indian eagle is always available. The agents are friendly, and genuinely want to find the best route and product for you. Once you accept their slightly off line process ( you book but ticketing could take a few hours - and it may change the price a bit occasionally - but nothing substantial - and I once received a discounted price too - so it is just a process problem - not scamming. Then things are smooth. I never had to reschedule the tickets (except when it is airline fault so no cost to me). So I dont know if they are expensive in that case.
