What a Difference a Year Makes!

I purchased a Leasehold property in 2022, so this July I will have lived in my bungalow for three years. I thoroughly enjoy living at Hawthorns as we are independent but have the safeguard of having a Manager who is on site during the week and willing to listen to any concerns we have.Last year our former 'landlords' decided to sell their Leasehold properties to concentrate on their rental portfolio.We now have the Churchill Estates Management as our 'landlord'. There have been changes in the last year and fortunately Churchills appointed our Manager. What an inspired decision, she is a cheerful helpful lady who has the ability to liaise with residents and deal with day to day problems that can occur.Her ability to speak knowledgeably to contractors when maintenance needs to be carried out is excellent. We now have a team of local qualified and approved contractors to carry out the necessary maintenance work on the site.Our Manager has the type of background that can 'think outside the box'! We have noticed such a difference in the way we are now treated - we are treated with dignity and care as individuals rather than a 'person' who happens to live at a certain address on our site. I cannot speak highly enough of the work that the Manager tackles on our behalf and will seek the input of our Regional Manager who also has the ability to act and refer concerns to Head Office if necessary.It is obvious that there is a structure that Churchills has in place that supports us. This is something that is important and welcomed by the residents. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hawthorns as a great place to live. I applaud the Manager and know that she is willing to help us and very willing to find a way to listen to our concerns and will pass on our thoughts to the team that is in place to resolve problems should it be necessary. Well done team for creating a safe and cheerful place to live.
