I can fully sympathise with the recent review by a leaseholder at another Churchill run development regarding the digital careline installation. We also had the S20 notice and two thirds of residents wrote joint requests that instead of just one pendant per apartment and ten spares for the lodge manager, all apartments should have two pendants. The tender specifications ended up for two pendants per apartment plus another ten for the lodge manager (why)?Almost a year since the installation and despite having paid in full from our service charges we still only have one pendant per apartment. Emails to Churchill requesting the missing pendants now go unanswered. There are other issues such as missing communal pull cords clearly included in the original works quote that we are only now told has been signed off and will have to be quoted separately for. Individual apartments were also charged extra just for wanting their door contacts reconnected, despite this also clearly included in the works quote. As the reviewer form another development says, Churchill should be ashamed of themselves.UPDATE TO RESPONSE -The response from Churchill is absolute nonsense. Nothing at all has been addressed. In fact I am still waiting on reply from the Churchill property team responsible for incorrectly signing off the work as completed! There is no confusion whatsoever as to what is clearly missing (42 apartment pendants and communal pull cords) that were specifically included in the works specifications (Supposedly) tendered for! There is no confusion of the fact that leaseholders service charges include full payment for the works including the 42 missing apartment pendants and missing communal pull cords and more. There is no confusion whatsoever of the additional charges that were made to individual apartment owners to have their intruder door contacts reconnected, despite this also being clearly stated in the tender specifications. Leaseholders pay and pay, but the this is yet another example of the shameful disregard by Churchill towards residents welfare safety and security.
